Celebrate with us on October 21st as we officially open Anna C. Verna Playground in FDR Park. This inclusive play space is designed for all ages and abilities, and families are invited to swing, climb, and explore.

The completion of this playground is a significant milestone in the ongoing FDR Park Plan, which aims to create a world-class public space that balances nature, water, and human activity. Named in honor of former City Council President Verna, the playground features state-of-the-art nature-based play equipment, including a 20-swing mega-set, log and boulder scrambles, slides, tree houses, and picnic facilities.

The environmentally friendly cork-based surface ensures long-lasting enjoyment, and we can't wait to see you and your families for a day of play at this incredible playground!
