Get ready for some artsy fun at the Free Frame Painting Workshop for tweens and teens, brought to you by the fabulous duo of AlmaAlmetaArt and Idear Crafts. If you're between the ages of 10 and 17, this is your chance to turn an ordinary frame into your next masterpiece. No, you won't be crafting a frame fit for a museum, but you might just capture the spirit of those epic selfies with friends and family. You'll pick up some handy painting skills and design tips that will impress both your mates and grown-ups alike. Who knew art could be this much fun?

The whole shindig is happening in West Philly, thanks to the generous Bartol/Marrazzo Teaching Artist Micro-Grant for Fall 2024. But don't forget—space is tighter than your favourite pair of jeans after Thanksgiving dinner, so registration is a must. And remember, adults must tag along, so feel free to bring your trusty sidekick. Materials will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so you might want to channel your inner speed demon if you want to snag the good stuff.
