Get ready to time travel back to the fall of 1777 with the Museum of the American Revolution's . On October 25, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., young history buffs aged 7 to 11 can step into the shoes of Continental soldiers, British troops, and even the ever-mysterious spies while Philadelphia is under British rule. Who knew history could involve so much character creation? You'll be on a mission to solve puzzles, play games, and engage in some serious storytelling, all while navigating a sea of maps and replica objects. Basically, it's like a playdate, but with more intrigue and fewer fruit snacks.

This day camp is set up as the ultimate school day away, allowing kids to flex their creative muscles while surrounded by history. Whether they're plotting their next move like a general or just trying to remember where they put their spy glasses, there's something for everyone. Tickets are $85 for the general public and $75 for museum members, which is a small price to pay for a day of adventure and learning. So mark your calendars because this is one historical get-together you won't want to miss.
