Get ready to dive into the world of freshwater mussels at on Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, right at 3401 Reservoir Drive in Philadelphia. Join Bria from Audubon Mid-Atlantic and Stacey from Fairmount Water Works for an adventure in measuring mussels and checking out the water chemistry of the reservoir. Don't worry if you're not a marine biologist; you'll be surrounded by fellow water-loving folks who are just as passionate about keeping the Delaware River watershed squeaky clean.

This monthly gathering is a chance to flex those scientific muscles—literally—while contributing to community science data that'll help these little shellfish thrive. If you're 12 or older, bring a grown-up along for the fun, but if you're just along for the ride, feel free to come and observe. Got questions?
