The Nor'wester Therapy Dogs organization is bringing their friendly dogs to listen to children read. This education-based program is designed for children in Kindergarten through Grade 6.

Your child can read to four friendly dogs in our spacious and bright new community room. We'll also have quiet activity centers set up.

The dogs serve as wonderful ambassadors and provide comfort to all readers, whether they struggle or not, by calmly resting beside them. Some children take bold steps towards becoming lifelong readers by enjoying books with their "reading buddy." And many simply enjoy spending time at the library beside a therapy dog.
